Dextrose is a fast absorbed carbohydrate that can rapidly ‘spike’ your body’s blood sugar levels through the production of insulin. Once digested insulin is released which transports excess nutrients into muscle cells, particularly post workout when you have depleted your glycogen stores. You can add Dextrose to your Whey Protein Isolate and/or Creatine as it’s very beneficial to replenish these stores. When taken with your Whey Protein Isolate, it will ensure the nutrients and amino acids enter your muscles and begin working on muscle repair and recovery as soon as possible.
